Are you serious?? Have you even looked into the depth of the coverup for Benghazi?

I read most of it. Perhaps it's because he is spending so much time and energy on stupid shit that he hasn't gotten around to fixing things that really matter to the growth and health of this country. As I said in an early post, if your ideas are fundamentally flawed, you won't get positive results.
Things suck and they are getting even worse for the poor and the children of the poor who are seeing the opportunity to do better diminish.

I have the news on. The energy and commerce department just came out with a report saying that individual insurance premiums are going up 400%. Thanks Obamacare.

eh if you all think Obama is bad just thank god you don't have Gillard ... stupid b***h thinks that saving trees and rocks is more important than the people. She just convinced a mining company not to build a gas plant that was going to give 2,000 jobs and a billion dollars to the impoverished Aboriginal communities in the area.

I think it's slightly unfair to rate him as good or bad when he has a Congress that refuses to work with him.

If I ignore that, I think he's on middle ground right now.

Yes! It's not all him. People forget that he has limited power.

I agree with this.

In this day and age, an Obama supporter can't say anything good about Obama without having a litany of negative things shoved right back in your face. Obama supporters are all having abortions, marrying their gay partners, and talking on their Obama phone with their government benefits paying for the cigarette hanging out of their mouth. In fact, there ARE highly intelligent and well qualified people who believe Obama is doing a good job.

Has anyone ever considered that your opinion isn't factual? He has done some good, some negative and a lot that is open to discussion based off opinions.

I fully believe he is doing the best he can with what he has to work with. Everyone walks around acting like he is intentionally trying to destroy the country. To what purpose?

I can waste my time telling you why I think he doing a good job, but you will come back at me with the negativity already displayed, probably use some name calling, and ignore most everything I said to give me your list of why he's bad. This whole discussion is just bait to have someone like me come in here and let you all pounce and show off your intelligence and prowess.

Having said that, why would it make you throw up for someone to say they think Obama is doing good based on the strides taking within the lgbt community in terms of marriage? Just because its not important to you, doesn't mean it should be less important to someone else. Not everyone has to care about politics, the state of the economy, or world problems. Should they? Probably, but not everyone is the same. So if that's what is important to them, why make it any less so because its not important to you comparatively?

Anyway, I just wanted to say my peace. The negativity directed at anyone who even shows a fraction of support for Obama is horrible. I have my opinion, you have yours, and no amount of talking will ever make us see eye to eye, it's only going to offend or piss off one or both of us. So what's the point?

well, he is getting done what he wants to get done.

the argument that congress is obstructing him isn't valid. he proposes budgets that even Ds wont pass. he had cooperation from both halves of congress for his first 2 years. he still has one half of congress that supports him.
AND, leaders work with opposition to forge ahead. It's very rare that a president has both the senate and the house yet they still manage to get things done.
Obama has picked the wrong things to do.

While we don't have aborigines, Obama is like-minded.

I say why bother because how many posts like this have been made and the discussions got anywhere? You and I have butted heads on this issue to no avail, as well as others in here. I honestly don't know what can possibly be discussed anymore.

Besides, every single Obama hater in here is not here with an open mind, which I thought was usually essential for a debate. Same with the Obama supporters. So doesnt that just leaving you with a bunch of bitching and arguing?

My problem is just not Obama. It's his entire administration.

I WAS an Obama Supporter. But, the more I learn about our government and politics the more pissed I get.

I am incredibly open minded. That is why I made this.

I want to hear all opinions.

and this thread is pretty tame for a D&D. lol

I agree, it is pretty tame. Not many Obama supporters have showed up though, and those that did kind of straddle the fence.

I talk plenty about Bush's blunders. Why do you automatically go to the "but, but, but...what about Bush?"

What ABOUT Bush?

None of those incidences had anything to do with a Bush order to, "stand down".

Bush didn't have any part in gun running to Mexico.
There were no PROVEN claims of fraud, either time Bush got elected.

...and how are Obama's actions impeachment worthy? Do you know nothing of our Constitution?

Even Obama's own people are turning on him. The liberal media are turning on him. Obamacare is a hokey, dangerous piece of legislation. It buries small business and the middle class. Since 2009, my insurance premium has gone from $200 a month to $700 a month. Can YOU afford a $700 a month insurance premium? My over 200% a month increase is what pays for Obamacare.

You're welcome.

And Obama is in his FIFTH year as president. When will you stop blaming Bush? It's redundant, already.

With an "open mind". What would you like us to be open-minded about?

This president is in deep crap. He's not only continued to tank this economy, he has taken part in impeachment worthy, criminal activity.

Are you going to make ANOTHER excuse for him?

Benghazi is bigger than Watergate and WE need to have an open mind?

That is LUNACY.
