Quoting Freya D:" inductions increase your risk for a c-section "

Haha that's what I was going to say.

OP, you should let nature take it's course and go into labor naturally. People that take those weight estimations too seriously can end up w/ underweight babies in the NICU. There's "a chance" something might go wrong either way, so I'd say wait til you're in labor and if baby is in distress or stuck, THEN do a c-section.

Quoting StewedAngie:" Everything else is perfect. I'm just really small and baby is really big."

how small are you? My friend was 4'10 and weighed only 95 lbs pre-pregnancy. she had a vaginal birth without any complications.

Pre-pregnancy, 5'2 and 93 pounds. Baby is measuring well over 9+ pounds

that can be FAR from right. They told my friend that her baby was 8 lbs and she ended up being only 6 lbs.

I certainly hope they are wrong about mine too.

give yourself the chance to labor, if things start going bad they can do an emergency C-section, do not let them scare you into it. Im going for a VBAC this time (I hope I still gotta talk to my dr) but im scared to death about doing it so soon after my csection, but im atleast gonna try to labor and see how it works out.

you can refuse induction and csection...(wouldnt do it if there was medical reasons)..My last daughter was suppose to be 11-12lbs and they thought about inducing and I wouldnt do it..She was born at 40 weeks +1 day and was 7lb 7oz

I'd try for natural, but be prepared for the c-section just in case. This time round I'm aiming for a VBAC, and there isn't any real reason I can't have one, my first c-section was because my daughter was breech. I so hope this one isn't breech, she hurts my hips enough for her to not be lol. Good luck!
