I've been having watery diarrhea for about three days, a frequent urge to go.. upper abdominal cramping like tightening above my belly button. and now a dull headache. I've done some research online and a lot of it talks about gallbladder issues but mine was removed about four years ago. anyone have anything like this???

Eventhough it was removed you could have still had stones stuck in the duct

I don't think it's related to gallbladder. as when I had attacks before.it was removed the pain was in another area.

It really could be a number of things. You probably should go get checked out at some point. I've had stomach troubles for 4 years and I am just now beginning to find out my problem. I had my gall bladder removed, scar tissue removed from my csections, was put on irritable bowel meds and checked for crohns disease. The drs are pretty sure I have celiac disease(gluten allergy). It sucks majorly bc you can't eat ANYTHING with gluten in it and a lot of foods and drinks have it. But at least it's becoming more common for most grocery stores to carry gluten free foods bc so many people in the US started having this disorder. My symptoms are intense nausea, severe abdominal pain at random times to the point that I curl up in a ball and cry. My pains only last 15-20 minutes before it releases. I had periods where I would get diarrhea for no reason whatsoever but that's pretty much cleared up. Now I only have what I refer to as "dumping syndrome" where it almost feels like diarrhea but it's not. But you go a lot at once. It happens a lot after your gall bladder is removed bc your body doesn't know how to react to the grease in foods with your gall bladder to break it down. I hope you are able to figure out what the cause of yours is. Also during my menstrual cycles, ever since i started having these issues, I will tend to get more like diarrhea and sometimes it has delayed my periods

most of the time I'll get diarrhea.before or at the beginning.of my period. also... I get constipated a lot or have the same dumping thing you talk of randomly. but.that really doesn't affect my everyday life. what im dealing with now makes me not want to leave the house number one im too fatigued to do much.and number two for fear of shitting myself. haha. I just want to be normal again. we're ttc this month.and.this is ruining my plans.

Ah i c. Well have you tried OTC anti diarrheal medicine? I know it would help be able to leave the house when I needed to. The IBS medicine helped a LOT with the diarrhea but then I stopped it because it wasn't helping my other issues and like I said, it has seemed to pretty much clear up since I stopped the medicine. It's been like 6 months since I was on it and I haven't had a problem since with it at least. I get tired a lot too even not being pregnant which is a sign of celiac disease also. It really sucks because your body can't fight off any infection and can't absorb vitamins and minerals as needed. My cousin has had it for years and she still has to take injections of vitamins especially Vitamin E bc she gets so tired she can't stand it. I hope you figure it out so you can start trying to conceive again.
