with my first it took a year.
with my second, I still have lots to lose. I gained 75 pounds with my second, I have 10 pounds to go.
With my first I gained 70, and was 30 pounds away from pre-pregnancy, then I got pregnant....
this time, no more babies for me. I Need to lose 40 pounds, and I am going to get rid of it by this time next year. slow and steady right?
ah, I wish it could be over night. :)

Quoting Just Ames:" How long did it take for you to not look pregnant :? I'm still so bloated. I'm working out and dieting ... [snip!] ... immediately without trying please take a shit on another thread. This doesn't apply to you :) Signed, plump girl in distress."

*going to shit on another thread*

lol, but honestly, your muscles are still healing so give it time. With each baby, you shrink slower, so don't worry and don't kill yourself trying! You're perfect the way you are :)

I just don't get it. After my first baby my stomach shrunk down with the rest of me. This time I'm left with a deflated pregnant belly only I'm so bloated I look a good 4 months pregnant :x

Awe, thanks. But I feel majorly under the gun because of a tropical vacay coming up at the end of June :(

So does it really take time for your stomach to go down? Because I'm getting really discouraged that I'm losing, but nothing is happening in the mid section.

It took me a lot longer to fully recover after my second full pregnancy.

I attribute it to being old :x.

Your muscles likely need time to come back together and tighten.

I have my yearly next week. I'm going to talk to my OB. I'm sure he can fill my tummy and make sure my uterus can't be felt. In fact, I did check out clear at my 6 week appt. So I guess I'm just going to look like this

It really does. My muscles tore, so no matter what I do, I will always have a pooch

See, the thing about me is my stomach and skin isn't flabby. I'm filled out :?

And I always feel like I'm ovulating. I don't get that either. I def don't remember it after my first baby :?

I read that multiple pregnancies can split your stomach muscles vertically. A lot of tummy tucks include muscle repair because it can give you a puffier stomach. I know you can help it with lots of exercise but I think surgery it the only way to pull them back completely. It took a long time for my tummy to look more normal and I never completely lost that bit of rounding at the bottom. I didn't work super hard at it either though, LOL

Well damn. I guess I'll keep doing what I'm doing and hope for the best.
