What do you mamas put in your salad? And dressing? I need some new ideas. I'm getting bored of mine.
Cucumber, carrots, shredded cheese (I use matarella) and I usually use ranch or Italian dressing
Homemade raspberry balsamic (just whisk balsamic, oil, and blackberry preserves to taste)
I like sunflower seeds and fresh bell pepper in my salad.
Romaine lettuce, olives, onions, feta cheese, tomatoes
ETA- dressing is balsamic.
radishes, cheese, chives, tomatoes, cucumber and croutons with Italian dressing.
cucumber, carrot, cheddar cheese, ham, turkey, croutons, hard boiled egg and either ranch or french dressing
Raspberry vinegarette dressing, walnuts, or sunflower seeds, dried cranberries or other dried fruits, I switched from iceberg lettuce to spinach, cheese, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, peas or soybeans, grilled chicken if I have it on hand.
I usually use red leaf lettuce, mushrooms (fresh), cucumber, tomato, sometimes hard boiled egg and feta cheese. And i use greek or italian dressing
Romaine, apples, dried cranberries, walnuts, bacon bits, bleu cheese crumbles, and raspberry vinaigrette.
Spinach, honey mustard dressing, chicken, toasted pecans, shredded cheddar cheese, hard boiled eggs, tomato and cucumber.
Honestly, whatever I have that needs to be used up, from cucumbers to leftover duck or potatoes.
Top with a citrus vinigarette. My current fave it tangerine lime. Yumm! Or balsamic.
Lettuce, mesculin and spinach. Shredded carrot, cucumber or zucchini, capsicum, halved mini romas, sliced mushroom, mandarin segments, thin sliced apples and I usually just salt and pepper with some egg mayo. I like Italian, honey mustard, balsamic and ranch dressing.
romaine lettuce, avocado, cucumber, boiled egg, crumbled blue cheese, chicken, tomatoes, blue cheese stuffed green olives...mmmm. I don't need much dressing with all those toppings lol. raspberry poppyseed dressing
Sunflower seeds, mushrooms, olives, cheese ( dubliner, cheddar, any hard cheese), croutons, bacon crumbles, avacado... Changes depending on the salad :).
