Quoting Emily Dickinson:" People have used addictions as a form of insanity before. However, to prove insanity, he has to prove ... [snip!] ... cut her daughter's throat 4 times (none life threatening, thankfully) and then trudged her through a river to "get help". :?"

It happened in fort wayne??? See Idk why I never heard of this. My husband was the one who told me about it recently but he got me confused bc he said he heard it was a sister of one of the victims that did it.:?

Yes, ma'am. It was in 2007 right before I got married. I remember it because it was such a messed up case.

I think that that suicide letter they found that he wrote back in like 2004 or something will definitely be a key factor. He completely admits he has a sex addiction and seems to be sorry for what he's done.

Once you show remorse, its basically an admission of guilt.

I just can't imagine what those poor girls went through. :(

Exactly!

Once those girls get on the stand, there is literally NO chance for him, unless they show him mercy, and even then I'd doubt a jury would give a non-guilty verdict.

Wow........thanks for the link. It's nice to be kept up to speed on everything involved. I wasn't much into listening to news broadcasts and such back then so that's probably why I don't remember hearing about it. I feel so so sorry for those girls though. They're probably going to need years of counseling and such. It still doesn't matter to me I guess that he "shows remorse" or that he has a sex addiction. What he did was absolutely terrible and deserves what's coming.

I really worry for the mental stability of Knight. She has yet to go home, she has yet to be seen. I am thinking that she is going to be unable to testify when the time comes. Unless it takes awhile. She won't even go see her family.

I agree. I think she's the one of was beat the most and she is almost recognizable, right? Like she might need surgeries to repair her face.

Yeah, she got the worst of it. She was repeatedly beat to miscarry and then forced to deliver Amanda's baby. :(

That's partially what I don't understand. If he went to such great lengths to make sure she miscarried, WHY would he allow amanda to deliver and why did he threaten Knight that if the baby died, he would kill her? Makes no sense whatsoever. :/

Maybe he had a soft spot for Amanda. Maybe she was his favorite.

Maybe so....who knows. But still makes me wonder at times.
