Still so damn sore! s00nt0be04 4 kids; Louisville, Kentucky 543 posts

So far 2 weeks PP and I am still freaking sore. My incision hurts so bad sometimes like I am stiff. I can't sit for a long period of time or walk around either because then I will begin hurting on my right side (mainly). Normal? I've never been this sore or anything after my previous c sections. Monday if I am still hurting I plan on calling and making an appointment with my OB. Sometimes I hurt so bad I take 2 pain pills instead of the 1 and I hate taking anything other than tylenol for pain. I also had my tubes tied if that makes a difference in the pain I could be feeling. This go around my OB didn't staple my incision just the dissolve ones inside of the incision cut (if that makes sense) and the steri (sp?) strips. I'm not sure if she tied one side of my incision tighter than other or what but it's a pinching like pain.

I'd say some soreness is normal even 2 weeks pp... my sil was like that with her last c section. And yes having your tubes tied can make you hurt for longer, that's what had her hurting so bad. But it wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor about it.

Thank you and it's not like I strain myself or do a lot to be causing the pain.

I can only imagine. Hope you feel better soon. Just make sure to rest as often as you can and of course stay hydrated. And congrats on the newbie :-)

I had more pain/pulling feeling on one side and a nurse told me it was pry due to the side they start cutting on first (made sense to me, since it seems like they woul cut a few times on the "starting side") and that it's totally normal. I hope you feel better soon!
