So I went in for ultra-sound at 19 weeks 5 days. The lady said it was too early to tell gender because testes or p***s could have not developed yet? I've had 3 boys and they've always been able to tell around 20 weeks. She checked between the legs 5 or 6 times throughout the exam and never saw anything, at one point she saw something that she said "could be a labia" but said it could be something else too. the baby had legs spread wide open several times and there was nothing there. She said she 65% girl but I'm wondering what you all think or if anyone has had similar experience? Should I buy girl stuff?

If at 19+ weeks she didn't see testes or a p***s, and thinks she saw labia.... I'd be leaning more towards buying pink.

However I'd probably be too nervous to do so. Can you ask for another u/s or maybe pay out of pocket for one if your doctor won't allow? Your u/s tech is wrong- the parts are developed by then.

If you saw three lines more than likely a girl. This was actually 18w 5d!

I would call and explain how that went and ask for another tech to redo your scan.
