Baby shower games that aren't stupid? SaucyPoppet Due July 10 (girl); 1 child; Colorado Springs, Colorado 1172 posts

So people keep asking what games I'm doing and they get so shocked when I say none. Every baby shower I have been to the games have been idiotic or just stupid and it seemed like half the people had to be forced to do it :-\ I don't want that. That and half the attendees will be men, also, so don't want anything to make them uncomfortable. Any ideas for games that aren't lame?

We had a good time playing "The price is right" with baby items! It was super fun!

Babyshowe games are stupid? Maybe the people going to the babyshowers are lame that they have to be forced to play.

At the last baby shower I went to they played a game where you got points for having random things in your purse. That was kinda fun, seeing the things people carry around lol. That wouldn't really work for the guys though

Here is a game I wanted to play at my baby shower, but it was at a church and with older people.....so figured they would kinda frown on this. Thought it was SOO funny though.

The one where you see who can drink the contents of a baby bottle first. If you're having alcohol you can fill them with beer for the ones who can drink

At my sisters they had a plate of rice with those tiny safety pins and you blindfold the person & they have to get as many safety pins as they can find with one hand. Blindfold and have a diaper race with dolls.

A fun one we did was putting a dime between your knees and dropping it in a shot glass lol

It's not really a game, but a friend of mine put numbers 5-20(or however far up you want to go) in a jar and everyone drew a number. Then you had to write a letter to the baby on whatever number birthday you drew.

For example, I drew 15 so I had to write a letter for him to open and read on his 15th birthday. I told him all about girls, high achool, and getting your driver's license. :)

I know! I wish I would've done it at my shower. I'd end up reading them all later that night. :)
