SO cooks for him :P

Really though, I usually stick to pretty simple stuff. Pb&J are always a go to if something doesn't turn out right or he doesn't like whatever new i'm trying to give him.

Mac n cheese, steamed veggies (microwave real easy), hamburger helper, sandwiches, cut up cheese and meats with crackers, tuna, chicken salad.

I've tried countless chicken recipes and they never turn out good. I actually haven't tried cooking anything new recently, but I think I am actually gonna go invest in a crock pot once I get off work. Hopefully I have a better experience with the crock pot than I do with the oven!

Thank you all for the great ideas! Now I won't have to feel bad giving DS the same meals anymore.

What are yall's favorite thing to make in the crock pot?

Crock pots are all the same, really so you can get a $20 one opposed to a $40 one, it just depends how big you want one, Some things cook better in the bigger ones, because of the steam circulating more. However, the new one my mom has, you can't set it on low or high and just leave it, it automatically has a timer and then will put itself on "warm" so when she's at work during the day, she's gotta hope my dad comes home early enough to turn it back on or hope I stop by to do it. It's super stupid. Mine stays on as long as I don't turn it off.

Pulled BBQ chicken.
Applesauce.
Pulled pork. (but, pork shoulders/butts are pretty big, and it's only me SO and a 4 year old that eats like a bird so I don't make that often)
Mac & cheese.

Do you have an ollie's bargain outlet? they have a lot of crock pot cook books for cheap, or you can use pinterest! Crock pots are nice, because you can also prep meals ahead of time, freeze them, and then just throw it in the crock pot when you need it.

I had to teach myself how to cook a while ago. When I don't "cook" I feed my kids frozen waffles, pancakes, cereal ect. for breakfast. Pizza, chicken nuggets, french fries for lunch. I also always have lunch meat, yogurt, granola bars, cheese sticks(string and colby), hot dogs, buns, frozen & canned veggies, fruit....
Allrecipes.com is my go to for fast and easy recipes. I usually only "cook" for dinner when DH is home.

Crock pots are soooo easy.
I usually just throw stuff in it. My fav to make is a beef roast with baby carrots and potatoes.

No, never heard of Ollie's. I do love pinterest though! That's where I usually find all the recipes I've tried

DS used to be really picky too. It used to be so hard to get him to eat any kind of meat, but he's been doing better lately. SO isn't any help either cause he doesn't know how to cook so he'll just order chinese/pizza every night
