My husband thinks I'm nuts, because obviously I have a baby bump, I feel PREGNANT, and well my stomach moves like something out of the movie Alien lol
but I told him it just doesn't feel "real" to me yet. I guess it's because we haven't really got anything yet that is needed ( we have a lot of stuff but a few thing we need to buy new because of them breaking or whatever other reasons) SO the house isn't really "set up" for a newb yet. With my other kids I was planning, freaking out, having a baby shower... so it felt like it was actually happening.

I think it will feel more "real" to me once we get a new swing, and the car seat. Or when I'm in the "home stretch". It's not that I am not bonded with this baby, because I am. I love them with every ounce of my being. I talk to them, sing to them, play music...etc. It's just it doesn't feel like " Oh hey I'm going to have a 3rd child"

It just doesn't make sense :? lol anyone else felt like this?

You aren't nuts. But I think you should have a little shower even if it is for nothing else but diapers. :)

I'm still like that! Lol it never feels real to me ever until I'm holding my newb lol I finally washed his NB clothes and packed up he bag for him. Bassinet is ready to go. I'm waiting on the carseat and should get it in a couple weeks, and I want to sterilize my pump parts and clean out the van real well.

Only 9 weeks away 0.o

Holy crap! Cannot believe it's so close! For both of us! lol
I got my hospital bag started, I'm not buying a pump until I am 100% sure that my boobs are actually going to work with this baby. I need a bassinet type thing, swing, carseat, and cloth diapers. Besides that I am pretty solid! Oh and I was going to grab some mylicon because it was my life saver with both of the kids.

I'd feel too "needy"
I had a shower for Max AND Skye. We might do a "meet the baby" party after they get here just for the sake of family meeting the baby and not giving us shit because " they never got to see them"

With DD it didn't seem real until I heard her cry, doesn't seem real with this one yet either. I figure it's just such a big thing my mind doesn't want to deal with it until it has to lol

Most of the time it doesn't feel real to me yet, either. We have our travel system, the crib and bedding(which are already set up, thank goodness), a diaper bag, and a few receiving blankets. I still don't have any clothes for Monkey, no diapers(I want to use cloth ones, though), no bottles or pump(since I do plan on breastfeeding)...I don't think it will feel real till he's here.

My "week 37" starts the 29th of July. That is when I have to start bouncing on my ball, doing the dirty, and walking my ass off lol He said I have between then and week 39 to go by myself or "he's going in"....
I'm hoping if I don't go by then... I can keep convincing him to let me go longer. I get I'm high risk and everything I just do NOT want to be induced or have a c-section. I had both of my kids no issues or anything.

I have had everything ready for weeks. The swing set up, his room, etc. I have been having contractions and cramps off and on for a few weeks. Even a few times I thought it was time to go to the hospital. I turned 38 weeks on Thursday. It still hasn't truly hit me that I am having a baby. Lol.

It probably won't until he is in my arms. Then it will be Heaven on Earth :)
