So sorry for your loss, good luck mama! How long were you on the mirena for?

Quoting ღFrodoliciousღ:" About a year. It was absolutely horrible... it embedded into the uterine wall and when it came out it was covered in tissue that had attached to it... "

Holy shit...I was asking because I have had the Paragard for about 6 months and my uterus has already rejected it. SO says he can feel it sometimes, and I'm so scared that when we get uhh...crazy in bed lol that it will puncture me. Our DS is 9 months old so we still have a long while until we're ready for another one but I'm paranoid about it... So what did they say when it came out with all the tissue??

That's crazy lol my OB told me that this IUD is 100% effective but could puncture my uterus and what not....Idk I guess I'll just have to see how it goes. And how often did you get it checked, I feel I should be getting it checked every few months to make sure it's not about to poke a hole through me lol

You are allowed to feel whatever you want. As often as you want. Feel happy, feel scared, feel worried and terrified and exstatic (sp?) all at the same time, lots of times. It's all perfectly normal.
