He came home to visit... Our Precious Little Girl Due December 8; 1 child; Saskatchewan 111 posts

Well my husband came to see our daughter and now that I know we are expecting twins I knew we needed to talk. And we did. I listened to what he had to say and then I told him what I wanted and what we needed. He leaves today and I have some hope that we can work this out. I know it won't be easy and that he might relapse but I need to try again. He agreed to marriage counseling and to quitting his out of province job once the court is over with. I made it clear that I need him here, we need him sober and we need him to give it his all. I told him I will support him in any way he needs to get help and to make us a family again. So now back to praying. Dear god please help us!

I'm praying for you, mama. It really sounds like your heart is in the right place. I hope things work out.

Thank you so much:) I really hope so too! I'm so tired already and extra stress from fighting won't help anything. I just hope his heart is in the right place too.

Good luck. Is there anyway that he could live somewhere else while you guys go through counseling? Sometimes, without him right there, it really helps resolve the issues. I know it sounds crazy, but it really can help. If not, then it sounds like you guys are on the right path. I know it can be hard. DH and I have our ups and downs too, so does everybody. I wish you guys the best of luck.

It absolutely takes two, you're right. I feel that putting God first in your marriage is key.

I'm rooting for you.

He won't be around much right now he works two weeks gets four off and has to depend on a ride right now. So we will have some space still between us until he finds work up here.
