Yes! And then I had to poo and a student came in so I asked her to go get my nurse because I needed to use the bathroom, the student just stood there dumbfounded that I asked her to do something. When the nurse came in I told her that I needed to get up and go poo, she was like "oh no, you don't! That usually means its time to have a baby!" I discreetly told her no that I was just checked and only at a 6 and I needed to go to the bathroom NOW. She went on to call the dr to check me again, that's when I told her that I was perry-dogging and I got out of bed and went to the bathroom myself. She tried to tell me not to go but my DH told her to leave!

(They also made me stay in bed the WHOLE time. Onto birth plan I told them I wanted to walk to help progress my labor.) I know next time I'm going to labor at home for the most part.

WOW! and i thought i had a crabby nurse with my first! she was just a snobby old b***h pretty much. but yours omg! im sorry lol i would have FLIPPED if i was you. take my water and candy away? eff you! and no let you take a shit!? ya no. lol
i want to labor a home for as long as i can safely this time before going to the hospital. i dont want to get stuck in a bed for ever and i dont want our 2.5 year old stuck at the hospital with us forever because we want him in the room. so the shorter time for him the more likely he will be there while his ssisy is born :)
