I'm lying on my back on the couch and I noticed this weird lump off to the side off my belly. I expected it to be hard, like part of baby, but it was soft and squishy. I pressed down on it and it slowly raised back up to a lump shape. It feels like an air pocket. It's weird. Anyone experience this?

It's not a hernia. I know what those feel like. It just feels like air... but I don't know why I'd have an air pocket in my uterus.

Is it an abscess? My cousin had one during her pregnancy.

I don't know. I can't see in there. It's not tender, though. It's just strange.

Could that spot be swollen?

It's possible, but I don't know why it would be. Plus, it moves, lol.

My cousins did not bother her. It was kind of squishy and would move when she touched it. Just a small pocket of fluid that popped up around her uterus. They don't know why, and it never caused a problem besides just being there. I'd just bring it up at your next doctors appt.

Not sure when that will be now. No insurance. Yay.

OHHHH I forgot. I remember reading that. IDK, if it isn't painful and the baby seems to be moving around normally then it should be fine. I'm sure you know that if it becomes painful or red and hot then you should probably get it checked.

Yeah, it isn't bothering me at all. I just thought it was odd.
