Do you think she will like this gift? My friend's DD is eleven today, and her birthday party is at six so it's not to late to return the stuff if need be and do something else. Her mom said she likes peace sign stuff, loves doing her hair, making jewelry, and funky neon nail colors. I got her: 3 peace sign key chains, different but similar, 2 pretty/ kinda unique hair clips, some colorful and sparkly bobby pins, 2 spools of ribbon with peace signs on em, but different designs, and 2 neon nail polishes, a purple and a green, and a lil glass bead charm. I got her one of those lil poofy black Caboodles makeup bags and put the stuff in with tissue paper, and tied with a bow, since I don't do gift wrap/bags. Sound good? TIA
Sounds fine to me. My mom teaches sixth grade and she says the girls are either overly mature or they're still playing with stuffed animals and such haha.
I think it sounds good. Is the ribbon for jewlery making

Oh yes, her mom told me how she is growing out of barbies, but she still doesn't want her wearing makeup and such. I hope she likes it, I wouldn't want her to be dissapointed, she is a great kid.

Not really, I just remember when I was near that age I liked to decorate with ribbonand wear it in my hair and on my mirror and school books.
It sounds good to me. My oldest is 11 and would love all of that. She is definitely outgrowing the dolls now and that kind of stuff would be perfect for her.
