Usually I get between 4-5 oz every 2 hours while pumping at work, the last week or so I've been only getting 3 and recently she has started eating 5 oz every 3 hours. I'm getting worried I'm not going to be able to keep up, any advice on how to increase it again? I'm thinking about getting a better electric pump, would that help? Thanks

You need to skin to skin breastfeed more or your most likely gonna dry up. Also, massage your breast & dangle pump to fully drain yourself. Drink more water

I don't pump when I'm not at work, I only work 30 hrs a week. She nurses only when I'm home.

Double electric pump, it's a playtex though and it was fine until recently. She nurses every 2 hours when I'm home. I did recently start trying to eat better, cereal.. Crackers for snacks- salad & then like a grilled dinner with veggies.

Some women don't respond to the pump as well. I had to find the pump that was good for me. I had originally gotten a super expensive one and turned out a 50 dollar cheap pump I could get 12 oz a b**b per session.

She chokes when I feed her, haha. I know I have milk, I'm only pumping for 15 min. Should I pump longer?

I would try. When I first started I would pump a few minutes after milk stopped to up production. I read that somewhere and it worked.

Sometimes you just get less. I eat plenty and drink tons of water and I do exactly what you do. I pump twice a day at work and only nurse otherwise. My baby is 3.5 months old and eats a five ounce bottle every 3.5 hours and when I pump I sometimes can get 6-8 ounces a b**b and sometimes I might only get three. So my suggestion would be to pump after he is done feeding at home. It works for me when I feel like I might be short and even after he drains me I usually not always can get an extra ounce to sometimes two. I use a 50 dollar electric single pump at work. I have to pump in the bathroom and they dont have plug-ins. It works fine for me. I think it's an evenflo if im not mistaken.

Yup, there is absolutely no wear else to do it and I wont do it in my car because our parking lot it packed with cars and people going in and out and I don't have tinted windows. It's not a public bathroom so it's not like there are people coming in and out there are three other women besides me that use it. I know I could throw a fit and demand a place but I honestly would rather not and I'm happy they don't make a big deal me taking 20 minutes every three hours to do it.

if they had somewhere to let me go they would I work in a manufacturing facility and my choices are bathroom or out in my car and I already explained why I wont do that. I guess I could go the easy way out and just tell the babysitter give him formula since everyone it above pumping in the private bathroom. Glad I'm not looking for breastfeeding support. Plus I'm not going to make a company I love go out of there way to find me a janitors closet to pump in. Thank you
