How did you get past a weight loss plateau? Ive been stuck at the same weight for the past couple days when before I had been steadily losing weight.. I exercise everyday, and eat healthy and am on a 1200 calorie diet. So do I just need to wait it out or is there something I can do to try to kick start the weight loss again?

And if anyone has my fitness pal, I need friends to try to keep me motivated!! so if you want to add me or give me your name that would be great.

Maybe you need to add some more calories. 1200 cal isn't always the right amount for everyone- depending on how much they need to lose. And if you're exercising everyday your body might need a little extra fuel.

You weight yourself everyday? I wouldn't. You can fluctuate a lot, so not losing anything for a couple days is fine. Really, 1-2lbs a week is normal healthy weight loss, so it's normal to not see a change (or even see an increase) from day to day. Weighing yourself once a week is better IMO.

Up your calorie count to 1500. Your body is used to that strict 1200 so let it fluctuate a bit then drop it back down to your normal 1200.

You should start measuring yourself. It's easier to see the differences in inches than it is in pounds, because muscle is more dense than fat.

This is true, too. & Weighing daily is too much. . your weight fluctuates so much on a daily bases. You could really be losing weight, but you might be retaining a little water or something.

Past couple of days? That's definitely not a plateau lol. Like others have already said, I wouldn't weigh yourself everyday. Your weight can fluctuate a lot day to day, with water weight etc. I would weigh once a week at the most. I personally weigh once a month though. Make sure 1200 is the right amount of calories for you to be eating too. But other than that if you're exercising and eating right then you will keep losing. :)
