Lactaid milk? MunchkinWrangler 4 kids; Rīga, Latvia 46840 posts

So I have been trying to cut out dairy for my 4yo because she has been having stomach issues. She doesn't like rice milk, soy milk or almond milk. I bought Lactaid to try and she loves it. She says it tastes just like regular milk.

Although I noticed that a serving of Lactaid fat free milk has about the same amount of potassium as a whole banana. Actually a little more. Is it going to make her constipated? She eats bananas, but not on a regular basis. Maybe once a week. Usually we have strawberries, watermelon, apples, grapes and blueberries instead.

lactaid still has dairy in it- jus no lactose. We are dairy free due to an allergy and use almond milk (the vanilla one is pretty good). If you have any questions about recipes and such, I can give you the websites I use.

**I forgot to add when we were trying lactaid, we had no problems with it causing constipation.. and both of my kids love bananas and eat them daily as well.

Oops. Im not cutting out dairy entirely. Im more concerned sue might be lactose intolerant. That was what I meant to say. I know Lactaid is a dairy product. Lol

I'll take that website!

We use Almond Milk as well (vanilla, dark chocolate (tastes just like yoohoo), nod the coconut one). My boys are both lactose intolerant & can't intake soy nor lactaid milk either.

I'll post the website back in here in a bit (or message it to you), I'm running out the door to help in my sons prek class. =)
