How many calories per day? What types of foods were you eating? What kind of exercise could you do while taking care of a baby? I'll hopefully be breastfeeding, what kind of caloric limit could I do?

mine was lingering college weight, I used myfitnesspal.com and made healthier choices, cut out soda and white stuff like white bread, white rice, white tortillas, etc. I lost about 12lbs within three months or so. I am now 26 weeks pregnant and I have just barely passed my pre weight loss weight by 2 lbs this past week, so I know it will all be gone again once the baby is out. :)
Also, I was breastfeeding my toddler at the time and had no issues with supply, I just made sure to drink tons of water.

Breastfed. I was in my pre-pregnancy jeans the day I came home 2 days PP. It was so easy and I actually used to get sick at first b/c I wasn't taking in enough calories.
Keeping it off, that's been the problem. DS is eating more solids and I'm having trouble readjusting back to my pre-preg diet. :\

24lbs, but I was 8-10lbs up from my norm when I got pregnant. If you plan to EBF I wouldn't worry about it. My son was vociferous nurser at birth- he shook his head so quickly back and forth and practically lunged at my breast when he saw it. Lol. He was quite strong as a newborn. Even if your LO isn't as aggressive, I would continue eating as you did during pregnancy (assuming it was somewhat healthily, not entirely pickles, french fries and ice cream, lol) and take it easy during your recovery time and then go from there after your 6-8wk check-up.

I lost 500 calories a day breastfeeding and I breastfed for about two years. I carried, rocked, and played with him for excersize. I'd throw him up in the air a little and drop him down to the ground in my arms and he loved it and it was an amazing work out until he was too heavy to do that anymore at like age 4 lol. I had great abs rocking him side to side and front to back when he was tiny and cried a lot and that helped him sleep. Taking long walks with him in the sling on me and he would fall asleep on me and Id keep walking. It is so easy to loose it, but I have gained it all back now that he is five lol
