What do you put in yours?
Are they filling?
Do they fall apart easily?
Does your SO like them or does he require a more substantial filling holder?
Do you do them more for lunch or for dinner?

I do mine like spring rolls. Sliced tofu, carrot, glass noodles, usually with peanut sauce. My husband eats whatever I put in front of him, so, no complaints.

I use butter lettuce for the warp.

I mix green onions, tofu, shredded carrots, sprouts, and peanut sauce. It's soooooo good.

My DH will eat almost anything but if it's not super carb heavy, he'll eat a huge bowl of cereal after dinner and it drives me batty. What is butter lettuce? How is it different? Do you make the peanut sauce or buy it? Could you use chicken instead of tofu?

I love the lettuce wrap stuff you can get in the frozen dept at the store, PF Changs ones. They do fall apart, I find them to be very messy, and DH would rather use a tortilla lol. But I LOVE them.

I keep seeing chicken taco lettuce wraps on pinterest and wanted to try that and maybe a bbq chicken wrap? I only eat poultry, fish and seafood so I feel like my options are really limited.

Ya you could use any meat, my mom uses chicken or ground turkey. Butter lettuce is sometimes called Boston lettuce, I use it because it holds the contents better and the leafs are bigger. You can buy it anywhere. You could always add brown rice to them for a starch.

He's a really good sport. I KNOW he doesn't like the same kinds of food I do, but...I'm making it so he sets a good example for the kids and eats every damn bite with a smile on his face.

And, once in awhile I make something he thought he'd hate but ends up being a favorite of his.
