I've heard that too, but I'm making marshmallow fondant and ya just marshmallows with powdered sugar so I don't think it can be too bad :) I hope!

I saw that on YouTube, I'm still debating f I want to just add food coloring to it, or paint the white fondant. Hmmm.

I prefer buttercream to fondant but some designs basically require the cake to be covered in the fondant so I work with it often despite not particularly wanting to haha

That is what my mom used but anything people can make with fondant my mom used to make with icing. She was a f**king pro at this stuff. I remember one cake she had sold for like $3-400 on auction (idr how much and I would ask her but she is asleep) but it was somewhere in there. I loved my mom teaching me how to make cakes with her and being able to brag to the other kids about how good my mom was at making cake.
