Sick at night? BRowell 3 kids; 2 angel babies; Bristol, TN, United States 3721 posts

DD has had the worst year with sickness. This is her first year of school and she's sick almost all the time it seems. I've noticed though that the last couple of months every few nights she will wake up in the middle of the night and throw up one or two times, go back to sleep and be perfectly fine in the morning. I've chalked it up to the flu or a stomach virus or whatever sickness she has around that time in the past but I ve noticed that its happening so much that I have bags, towels, mouthwash, nausea medicine, cleaning supplies etc. in a drawer by her bed for when it happens. It's becoming so frequent. Latley, since she hasnt been sick shes had no other symptoms, fine during the day, just throwing up at night. She has a dr. Appointment for Thursday but I'm curious now and don't want to google. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Oh, she's 5 btw.

Sounds like reflux to me. Or GERD.
