Quoting Man. Bear. Sloth.:" That's not what you said though. "So as soon as I saw it I took it off. She flipped the f**k out. ... [snip!] ... about it in the morning when you're both more rational and had a good night's sleep. Whatever though. It's your kid. shrug."

Jesus, I have palpitations even looking at this. When my kids are awake in the middle of the night, all I want to do is get them back to sleep. No arguments from me. Do what you want, but go the f*** to sleep...

:!: No one is going to have a rational conversation with a 3 year old at 2 am. Especially while they are screaming.

Yes, and right before what you quoted says that she woke up on her own :?
It's not like I ripped them off of her I just slipped them the rest of the way off while she was going pee :?
You guys keep saying I blew this out of proportion but I'm pretty sure that's what you are doing now.

Regardless of how she woke up.... you still argued with her and made her cry at 2 am. That's not worth it over a pull up. And going commando for a 3 year old is unsanitary and probably uncomfortable for your child.

Maybe I am blowing it out of proportion. Who cares. I think you made few bad decisions.

No one argued, She goes commando by choice all the time, and how is it unsanitary? People go commando all the time :?

Quoting Just Ames:" :!: How incredibly sad. Kid likely doesn't even know what she did wrong because yes, a child feels they've done wrong when you're in their face using a "tone"."

Good god! No one got a tone. She cried because she's three and because it was 2 in the morning.
I already said I probably blew it out of proportion, you people are acting like I yelled at her.

:!: Exactly what I wanted to say but couldn't find the right words. It's like you are punishing HER for what the daycare did.

But in a child's eyes, she did something wrong.

She didn't think she had done something wrong she was crying because she wanted her diaper back. She got over it and has not since asked about it.
It's really not that big of a deal.

I never used pullups, because they are essentially just non absorbent diapers...but still one time shouldn't cause her to regress if it's been a year, and she obviously knew not to go potty in them.
