Gift ideas? N&Em'sMama ○ Jamie 34 kids; Illinois 11838 posts

DS is finishing up his first year in pre-school soon. I'd like to give his teacher and the staff a nice end-of-the-year gift. There is his main teacher, the two class nurses, the aides and the therapists. Mainly, it's the one nurse, his teacher and just one aide, that work with him everyday, but I don't want to leave anyone out, as it's still a team effort.

What's a good gift to get them all? Should I get individual gifts or a big group gift? I was almost thinking an individual gift for the teacher and nurse, and the rest a group gift, but would that be okay? Any ideas on this and what to get? For Holidays I've given them a big box of chocolate to share. I'd like to do something different for this gift though.

YOu can never go wrong with Bath and Body works goodies. Everyone has something that they like from that store and if the fragrance you pick is wrong it is super easy there to do an exchange.

Hmm, that could work. Do you think it'd be okay to just give that to his teacher and nurses, and then everyone else the group thing?

I'd do that for his teacher and nurses, but instead of a group thing for everyone else, maybe make them each a small gift basket or something? With little treats in it? Dollar store basket, some goodies, kwim?
Because the year is ending, they won't be able to leave the joint gift out to share, will they? Or will they still be at school throughout the summer?

Unless I give it to them the day before the last day. ;) Or I could make the small baskets, but to me that's more thoughtful and better for the teacher & nurse, ya know. And the thing is, I'm not sure how many other people exactly there are. Lol

The students as well, you mean? I should actually make a snack for the whole class. I feel bad that I didn't think of that. I'm glad you mentioned that. hahah

Yeah, I need to check out Pinterest again. I haven't been on there in awhile and don't even remember my password. Lol

either or both really? You could make a bunch of yummy something and bag it up into those cute cello bags and hand it out. That would be easy and affodable and if you make too many its not like you are losing a lot of $ over it but it still comes across as thoughful and a great gesture. Maybe make one snack for the students and one snack for the adults that you wanted to recognize
