Period like cramps? 39 weeks Starr Metcalfe 3 kids; Kentucky 504 posts

So ladies, I'm 39 weeks 3 days. I was dilated to a 1 almost a week ago , but I've not really had any contractions that have been noticed, and no leaking.

but all day today I have had these period like cramps. Really low on my uterus and pretty painful. Kind of all the way across from hip to hip and some lower back pain. Nothing that seemed like anything I could time or anything. I've also had a lot of pressure feeling in my pelvic floor for the past week.

I have an appointment in the morning. Think I should go on in tonight or just wait until my appointment? This is my third baby but I've ever had any kind of things like this going on lol.

I'd call your doc and see what he wants you to do.

Def wait until they're a little stronger to go in, but you may not make it to your apt. That's how my labor started. Do some squats and walking :)

I'd wit . My labor started like this, super low cramps by wasn't getting full abdominal tightening like I would with BH. But I noticed I had loose stools and it kept happening and they were timetable. And we're intact contractions.but it was like 6 hours of that before I went in to get checked and I was 4cm and she said the head was pushing down in my cervix and it seemed Like I was in labor. And I was!

Thanks ladies! I've had my girls out playing today and I've been trying to clean and keep myself on my feet to see if the cramps go away or get worse or anything. Here's to hoping!

I'd wait to see if they develop into contractions. With my first I had cramps for hours and they eventually turned into contractions after a few hours. I ended up delivering him approx 18 hours after the cramping started.

Well ladies, a whole bunch of nothing came of that. lol Dilated to a 2 today at my appointment, got sent for an NST because of the crampiness, not a single contraction the whole time. haha. Back to the doctor on the 28th! Which is 2 days after my due date so hopefully we'll have a little more progress then!
