bloody lip..... Allissa Specht 35 kids; Essexville, Michigan 5397 posts22nd May
My poor Bubs. He was standing up at the foot of my recliner and ended up falling and smashing his lip into it. I guess maybe he managed to bite his upper lip or something?! I don't know but his lip automatically started bleeding! I realize that mouth injuries bleed like crazy. Well, he wouldn't sit still long enough for me to tell where the blood is coming from. It's not really bleeding actively, but he still has a little blood in his saliva. He is nursing fine, so he should be ok right? I know that the ER wouldn't really be able to do anything so just wondering if I should do anything for it?

Nah, it will heal itself really well. There's not much to be done for minor mouth injuries.

That was what I thought. My older two have had bloody lips a couple times but theirs were to the point their teeth had almost popped through it. I haven't gotten a good look in DS's mouth because he is 8 months old and to wiggly!
