DS is 4 1/2 months and we finally have a change table. Late I know but he still likes being on them. It is so awesome and we have been kicking ourselves for not getting one earlier.

His mobile broke the other night too so we had to get a new one. We miss the old one :(

pointless post but I wanted to tell someone.

I thought they were ridiculous and never wanted one.....until my first week home with DD. I came home from the hospital feeling awesome and decided to carry boxes and unpack stuff to get everything ready for her. Needless to say I couldn't move for 3 days after that. I wouldn't take my pain pills because they made me sleepy and I didn't want anyone else taking care of her (I was staying with my mom, BD and I were not together).
I wish I had one at that time. Trying to bend over to change her on the bed or in the little bassinet part of her playpen was horrible.

I had a changing table and used it like twice. Waste of money for us.

Yay! We love ours. I was told I'd regret getting one because they're a waste of money, but we use it so much. It's also one of Ds's favorite places to play, I think because he can see more around him lol

My son is 2 and we still use it! I took the pad off the top, and now it's used for toys! :D

I hadn't ever intended on us getting on. Was just going to get one of those pads for his dresser or something. But the crib SO's dad bought us had one attached. We've used it some, but not near enough as some people think they would. He's way too big to fit on there now, so it doesn't matter lol

For the next baby I want to get a pack n play with one attached. SIL has one for my nephew and it's very nifty.

We have been changing him on the bed or floor and our backs are so bad. It is one of the best things we have bought and all the cloth nappies can go underneath too. We originally didnt get one because we thought it would be a waste. We can use it with future kids too.

It was $59 for the table and $29 for the mat NZD so $70USD which is a bargain in my eyes.

That is good! My mum insisted on buying one for me, she paid 200 odd for the table and 50ish for the mat from farmers!
I said I didn't want one but she insisted, then bitched when I didn't use it
I found it an awkward height. I'm short and it was just weird to change on, I prefer the floor couch or bed is easier for me

Yeah got it from good old Kmart. The table was on special. Its the perfect height for us. Caitlyn and I are only a cm difference. Blake's room is finally looking like a nursery.

I love Kmart. I could sit in there for hours. They are finally bringing in packs of 3 onesies.
