Sorry I keep posting.. but I never got to go into labor naturally wi th my son, plus I'm a week furter into this pregnancy than I went with him. Anyways.. I'm 1cm dilated, 50% effaced, and my cervix is sofetning.. baby looks great on the monitor and my contractions have mellowed out ( from 31-34weeks I was having them consistantly with no progression) but I started loosing my mucous plug today, with some minor period like cramps, now I'm kind of feel sick and ancy, and I have horrible stabbing/shooting pains in my vagina. I'm not too concered, just curious if this sounds "normal" ? I'm 37 w 3 d

I lost my mucus plug a week before I went into labor. The night I went into labor I was a little crampy not much just woke up with sharp pains and I was bleeding through my pjs. Then went into full blown labor. Can't believe you have 16 days!! So soon!!!

Oh man, that makes me nervous! The pains are getting worse, and I feel pretty sick, almost as if I have a tummy bug :/ part of me hopes it's near, but I want to go as lo ng as possible

I lost my mucous plug more than once during my pregnancies. It really doesn't mean much sometimes, sometimes it is an indicator you're close. The contractions don't mean a lot, I had them as well.

I am well aware of the signs of labor, I'm mostly concerned because I didn't go into labor naturally with my son, and I don't want a surprise before my cesarean.
