yes, i did. i found a girl online who did it in my home for $125. she came and boiled it first i believe, cut it up dehydrated it in a regular food dehydrator that you'd use for making jerky. she added herbs to it too. i had a small placenta, but i still got a ton of pills (a large bottle + like 20 more that didn't fit). i can take a picture of the bottle for you, i just have to finish feeding LO.

You can search on there for placenta encapsulaters in your area, many of them are also Dula's (sp).

it's called placenta encapsulation, that might help you find more results on google. you can look on FB too and see if there are any holistic families groups in your area, they can usually point you to someone who does it. a lot of midwives and doulas do, so search for one of those in your area and see what they say.

you can also have it prepared to just eat, & i know there's a girl in here that has a tincture.

You can usually find ways around that, but I have heard some hospitals are strict.
Tell them you are going to bury it under a tree!

they told me it was medical waste so they gave SO a note in case anyone stopped him while leaving the hospital, but no one questioned him.

Just tell them you are going to bury it under a tree, or if you think your doctor would let you then just ask straight out. Make sure you have a cooler with ice to take it home in and bring it to your fridge ASAP.

There are youtubes of how to do it on your own also.

YES!!!

I couldn't afford to hire the wonderful doula here to do mine, so I ended up doing it myself. I steamed it first, sliced it, and dried it in the food dehydrator. Then I ground it in a coffee grinder and added a little fenugreek before putting it in the empty gelatin capsules.
