Quoting Addy & Grace's Mom:" I have been able to keep food and water down for the most part. I feel miserable but I just fight the urge to throw up most of the time."

As long as you are intaking enough calories and nutrients as well as water you should be fine. Some women lose weight because they eat better than they did before pregnancy.

Quoting Addy & Grace's Mom:" I thought about 2 liters was about right. I think that's what I did with all my other pregnancies and ... [snip!] ... told me to drink at least 4 liters a day. If I did that I would never leave the bathroom. I'd be peeing all day and night long."

In that case I would just tell the doctor yes I am drinking that much. I just told my doctor all the things she wanted me doing. I probably never drank the full 2 L anyway.

Yes this and a pregnant woman burns more calories sitting on the couch than a non pregnant person.

By the time I was 24 weeks I had lost 26 + lbs. I never had any horrible morning sickness, only about 3 episodes. When I brought it up to my OB he told me not to be too concerned, that I should concentrate on gaining weight in the last 12 weeks of pregnancy. I also had some trauma to my stomach which caused some fluid (wasn't told what) to form in a pocket between the uterine wall and placenta, I had been in a lot of pain with it and neither of my doctors paid any mind to it. But when I was in the hospital for a pelvic injury that was putting me into preterm labor they did an ultrasound and when the transducer went over/near the area I had trauma you could see a pocket. If you are worried that you may have a hernia, I would suggest seeing your primary since you probably see an OB every four weeks. But if you see your OB relatively soon, I'd keep bringing it up or ask for them to look at a spot that is bothering/concerning you. It must be really frustrating to have to deal with a temp. like that!
