The other day I was getting ready for a shower & my arm brushed against my nipple & i notices my arm got a lil wet, I took a look and lightly tugged on it and a tiny bit more came out.. This must be normal? & could you tell how close you are from labor & birth from this stuff??

It's colostrum. It essentually means you're pregnant. It happens to basically everyone.

It's colostrum. It's really common for it to leak during pregnancy and it's not an indicator that labor is near. It was actually my first pregnancy symptom. I thought for sure I had breast cancer or something, haha.

This. From the time I was 9 weeks-the end of my pregnancy I leaked colostrum.

Colostrum doesn't mean anything about how close labor is. I have had milky colostrum since 23 weeks, had the same with my first son. Just means you've got milk in there waiting for baby. :-)

Wow, okay thanks guys :)
I was just hoping it would indicate labor's close & it's just that I never had this before

Unfortunately nothing indicates impending labor other than contractions.

Why would you want labor to be close at 34 weeks?

It's totally normal, and no indication of labor. I started getting it at 20 weeks.

I don't want labor to be close, I assumed I was close since I just started getting colostrum & felt my first BH Contractions a couple days ago & people are assuming I might have a preemie just cuz baby daddy was born at 3 lbs & I was small in the beginning

Leaking colostrum doesn't mean your labour is near... Mine started at 17 weeks with my son, and I'm expecting it to happen around the same time this pregnancy. It's a good thing to have it tho, it means your breasts are preparing for your little baby!
