How much do you spend on your LO each month roughly? How old is your LO? For EVERYTHING- food, clothing etc... SO and I are thinking about starting to TTC again sooner rather than later and we are pretty good about budgeting right now so I wanted to get an idea of what type of costs we are looking at. I hope to EBF for at least a year and cloth diaper.
Diapers- about $70
Wipes- about $30 (we buy the big bulk boxes)
Miscellaneous- about $50-$100
That's really all we buy him monthly. We got a ridiculous amount of clothes before he was born in all sizes so we rarely buy him clothes. I breastfeed and we do BLW so he just eats what we eat. And for misc I was accounting for shampoos, lotions, random toys, teething tablets, vitamins, movies, etc. He doesn't get all those every month so it varies how much we spend.
Lo is 2.5. We really don't spend much on her that isn't us buying things she doesn't need. :oops: she is potty trained, but has pull ups for when we are out and about so we don't go through a lot. She eats what we eat. Insurance is the same amount even without her on the plan. The main expenses I guess are shoes and clothes. We buy a lot of second hand clothes and have been fortunate to have a lot of hand me downs sent our way.
Maybe $75 a month?

I don't even want to think about it. lol.
Probably like 200 bucks.
He is 20 months. Its going to be double that when he starts school.
I also don't have to pay for day care...but if I did, that would be 100-125 a week added to that.... and if he wasnt on medicaid, it would be more for insurance.
It added probably about 200 to our monthly expense when we had one. We don't buy clothes and stuff every month.
Would you be a SAHM?
DD is 4.
Daycare = $320 a month (gets to be $256 a month ish during the school year)
Food= $75 maybe
Clothes= $30 a month (sometimes more sometimes less, mostly second hand)
Toys= $20 a month
Dance Classes= about 30 a month (we pay quarterly and only during the school year)
School Readiness (will start this fall)= about $25 a month (this is devided over the whole year but only pay during the school year.
This all totals up to be $500 a month.
Once I start my new job to add a dependant to medical and dental it is about $125 a month, so $625 That would cost the same regardless of if I had one kid of ten kids.
That isn't including Electricity, Water, and that type of thing.
DD (4) preschool 200$, dance class 45$ plus extras, food probably around 150$, outfits, shoes, personal stuff 75$. Gymnastics 85.
DS 10 months, diapers/wipes 75$
Shes out of diapers, i still buy baby wipes though.
Mostly what is spent is on clothes, toys, shoes, ect.
She just turned 3.
All of it. Every penny.
My daughter- she's 16mo old and we roughly spend about $260 a month. Only because I shop at Target for her clothes (that crap get expensive!!!) They have stuff I just can't resist lol. If I budget on her clothes then $180. Oh and we do Honest diapers which is $80 a mo. Everything else is pretty cheap.
My son- He's almost 5 and we spend around $120 on him
Total on the kids is $380 (not budgeting, no couponing or sales)
This total includes clothes, shoes, food, hygiene products ect.
about 500-800. for all three. depending on what they need.
Nothing really unless I pick her up a cute outfit here and there. She wears all hand me downs. I bought most of my cloth dipes during preg. I buy new ones here and there. I am buying some baby leg warmers as a cd accessory too. I have to restock my cd detergent but that's like every 4-5 mos (dd is 4 mos and I have not even used one whole bottle yet of Ecos (I'm thinking another month ill need more). I had to buy tea tree oil and vinegar for the dipes to disinfect them. I also use the tto to make her wipes and I bought some different oils that I use for that and for cooking so dual purpose. I use the vinegar for cleaning as well so that's also dual purpose. I make my own baby wash so I bought dr bronners castile soap and some lavender for that. I have baking soda and apple cider vinegar that I wash her hair with and mix in some powdered oatmeal and honey or tto with the acv. But our whole fam uses that otherwise it would last forever. I have vit e oil for the baby wash and I also like it for diaper rash. I have coconut oil that we all use for lotion and in our hair sometimes for frizz. Some people use it on their diaper rash and in their wipes. And well get the occasional toy or whatever.
So basically I just have basic household stuff that's dual purpose. And not expensive. And they last months so its not even a monthly expense.
Not much. We cloth diaper, so only a few extra dollars a month for detergent. Maybe 30$ every 3 months for clothes. Food, probably 30-40 dollars a month. We would spend less but we get WIC and they buy baby food, otherwise I would make my own. So, not a whole lot right now. She's almost a year.
DD is four, so it is different than a baby but about 375. 120 for school, 60 for gymnastics, she adds 100ish to the food budget and the rest is misc clothing/toys and special treats or whatever.

Thats great you have been able to find so many things that are dual purpose!
