Pain and pressure Southern Mommy & Wife 3 kids; El Paso, Texas 92 posts

I have horrible pain and pressure down there and in my butt lol it feels like I need to have a bowel movement but most of the time nothing, I don't think I'm constipated, I have gone everyday lately but this pain hurts!

I went for a long walk today, and bounced on my birthing ball (it helped the pain I have in my hips so much so I did it for like an hour lol)

Could it be from baby dropping? Anyone else get this feeling? Never had this my last 2 pregnancies (I'm 38 weeks btw)

That sounds like labor, to me. I'd call L&D.

I dunno, my mom's only labor sign with me was that she had to poop. She sat on the toilet for forever until my grandma finally forced her to go to L&D and I was born 15 minutes later.

You should probably go get checked out to see if it is labor.

My friend actually labored to 9cm on the toilet because it helped relieve the pressure, then she went in lol

I thought I was having BH but turned out I was in labor. Went from 2cm to 4 in less than an hour but didn't have him for another 24 hours and only then from a c-section.

That's what happend to me. My water broke and then I went to the hospital and kept trying to poop and my nurse freaked and was like "it's time to push!" Lmao I had no clue

Yeah, no one explained that the urge to bear down felt like constipation until after I had my DD. Thankfully I figured it out on my own when after 20 minutes of hopping in and out of the shower and onto the toilet the urge was getting worse and worse and it suddenly clicked in my head that it was the urge to bear down. I had gone into the shower at only 4 1/2cm dilated after 12 hours of labor so didn't think it was possible that I was ready to push. Once I realized I had my hubby run for the midwife while I dried off. She wanted me to go back into the shower and wait but I made hubby walk me to my bed and help me lie down. I demanded she check me and as she did baby slid down past my cervix. She was born 10 minutes later.

Oh yea I definitely remember what the urge to push felt like and this pain felt different, but it went away, i just feel extremely sore between my legs, it feels like a pulled muscle and like someone is ripping my legs off lol :(

I have big babies (10 lbs +) and this time I have GD so I'm hoping baby will be born soon and that it's just from him dropping! Lol
