I look like I'm 20-25 weeks pregnant but I'm 2.5 weeks PP. Why do I carry weight in my tummy, isn't that for old men who drink beer and eat like crap? I'm young, I'm a women, I eat decent....
What the heck? How can I lose belly fat.
I look skinny because I dress to give the illusion, streachy waist pants, not-too-tight-not-too-loose shirts, I can take 5-6 inches off by sucking it in while I'm standing (not the hold your breath kind that takes inches off the top, but using my lower ab musles, which are strong, but under lots of fat, but they allow me to draw it in) but when I'm sitting, especially if I'm wearing bottoms that aren't streachy enough, I can't suck it in at all, then it just hangs, so I cleverly hide it..so I "look" thin, but I'm really not...people would be shocked to see the reality! When I show someone who is close to me they think I'm pushing it out, but it's all natural! It's bad!
I don't want to fake it anymore, I want the real thing, I want a fit tummy! So I can wear jeans and stuff, I refuse to do that now, my husband wants me to wear jeans, and I want to also, I'd love to! But I can't because the feeling of flab hanging over my pants makes me want to puke. I hate the way it feels 10X more than the way it looks! For some reason I'm more sensitive to it when I'm nursing my daughter, but nursing sessions make me hyper aware of everything...
Anyways, aside from my big backstory, how does one target belly fat, especially on the lower belly?
I'm 3.5 years pp and still have this issue. Especially when I get bloated, which happens fairly frequently. I work out 5 days a week and weight about 135 and it's still rediculous. I've given up. I blame it on my c-sec scar, lol. ALTHOUGH you're ONLY 2.5 weeks pp?! You don't need to be worrying about it at this point, lol. Or get a pp support band thing.
You JUST had a baby, 9 months on, 9 months off. With my 2nd daughter it took me nearly 3 years to lose everything I gained (44lbs + extra). I'm almost 10 months PP and still have weight to lose, I'm working out, dieting, breastfeeding.... and it's just NOT coming off.

That's how I was while breastfeeding! I felt totally gypped (OT but I just used googled to spell gypped right and apparently its racist....but I couldn't find a replacement word, lol).
I gained no weight during pregnancy, I actually lost a pound. I ate a lot, so I'm not sure why. But I don't have baby weight to lose. I've had this problem since long before my first pregnancy. I just carry weight there.
