Gah.... I wish a name would just jump out and slap me. I like one for a couple days and then it doesn't feel right for her. First it was Caroline. Then it was Natalie. Then it was Paige. Then it was Morgan. None of them last more than a few days. And it's SO frustrating to try to explain why I don't like the name anymore. Idk. It's just a feeling that I can't explain and nobody understands...

My son's name was chosen long before we even knew for sure he was a boy. It just felt right.

Blah :(

Why do you keep turning them down? They don't seem right?

I love Caroline btw.

Sometimes its just best to wait for baby to be born then decide, I know you want a name now, i had the same feelings, but sometimes it just not going to happen till you see LO

Yup, I hear you. Even though I really wanted my youngest to be a girl, I was so happy when he popped out with a penis, because there wasnt a name on the planet that felt right.

I love the name Caroline!

With DD we had her name picked way before we knew she was a girl. I even looked at other names later on in my pregnancy, but nothing else ever felt right.

Yep. I find one, like it, sleep on it a couple days, call her it a few times... that last part usually kills it. I haven't found one that feels like her.

My mom keeps reassuring me by saying "the one thing you know before the name, is the child" but I feel a time crunch. Lol.

I asked him what he wishes it was and he STILL can't decide after all these years.

Her name is Juliet and I think it's a good strong name she won't be ashamed of :)

Wait until you see her. When I was in the hospital I brought a list and went over every name I liked and loved and read them out loud while looking at my DD. Don't feel bad.

TBH I should of waited a few more days after she was born because I found the perfect name a few days later that fit her better. Oh well.

Helena is her name and then I came across Magdalena a few days later. Lena is the perfect nickname so I adore that, but I prefer Magdalena over Helena.

We went through the very same thing. We finally narrowed it down to about 4. I went into labor on my due date and the minute we saw his face we knew who he was. It was frustrating as hell the entire 9 months, but he had a first name within 2 hours of being born and a middle within 3. I know it doesn't seem like it, but you really will figure it out.

Yeah. I think that's probably how this is gonna go... probably name her in the hospital.
