For those who like to eat extremely healthy while pregnant, what do your daily meals consist of? I'm currently not pregnant, but once my husband is home from AIT we plan on trying for baby #2. And I gained 65 pounds with my first. She's 2 year old now and I've only lost 30 of those pounds and I wanna try not to gain as much with my next one. With my first I ate WHATEVER I wanted, whenever I wanted. I never watched what I ate or anything. I know I really can't control how much I gain while pregnant, but for the health and well being of myself and another baby, I wanna eat healthy also. Thanks.
Avoid ALL fried, and fast foods. I ate chicken and lots of veggies mainly. I LOVED stir fry while I was pregnant. I lost 40 lbs.
I'm watching what I eat so far in this pregnancy. I gained about 50lbs with my son and I do not want to do that again. WIC said I should gain 40lbs since I'm underweight, if I do it will be healthy weight, not fast food and sweets. So far I've been eating a lot of nuts, (almonds, pistachios, cashews). Salmon, chicken, salad, fresh fruits/veggies, especially avocados! Nothing but water/milk and juices. A little dark chocolate when I need something sweet.
