What was your babies sugar? My son's was 44 at birth and after 15 minuets went down to 12 :-( so he needed an IV and spent a majority of the day in the NICU . At 1am he moved back in my room and we went home the next day...

20. Then 19 an hour later. She was on an IV the first day and the second day they weaned her off and supplemented through ng tube to keep her sugar up after she bf and then the third day we stopped supplementing and went straight to bfing exclusively and then the 4th day she was in my room. She was 35 weeks.

most likely the samething u got they just didn't give a me a name of what it was but it was for the numn I know that for sure because after I took it I couldn't feel my legs or arms... I wasn't able to eat or drink anything including ice and I was in labor for 2days :( they had to induce me in then later on I had the csection
