The media coverage is probably a big part of it but if they changed the policy then the 11 year old could have gotten the adult lung if needed if s/he was sicker than the 10 year old. That's why I think it should be changed.

I still stand behind my belief that the sickest person that has the best chance should get the organ first.



They have the rules for a reason.



Waiting for my sisters liver was agonizing and to me she was no less important than someone younger...



I think instead of all this hoopla they should be trying to raise support for more people being organ donors.
