At what point in your pregnancy did you feel comfortable using natural induction methods? I'm fully prepared to go to 42 weeks before being medically induced if I have to, and I'm not going to do anything until I hit my due date. I'm mostly trying to decide how comfortable I feel with things like a membrane sweep or getting a prenatal massage and having her hit some pressure points after 40 weeks. One one hand I'd like to wait for her to come on her own, but on the other I'm worried if I wait til after 41 weeks I'll be pushing it too close to having to be medically induced.
Granted I could go into labor like, tomorrow and this post would be entirely pointless, but I'm just trying to be prepared in case I do go past my due date.

I would think 38 weeks to start trying to hurry the process... membrane sweep, walking, sex, massage, etc.
I did EPO starting at 34 weeks but it's not really a labor inducer...more like a labor prepper.
I didn't start natural induction methods until 39 weeks with my 2 oldest. My other 2 were induced at 39 weeks so naturally doing it was a bit of a moot point.
I tried castor oil at 40 weeks 2 days, didnt work. My MW suggested I try it. But I personally wouldnt be comfortable with any induction (medical or not) if everything is healthy, now that I am more educated. There have been women who went over by 3 or 4 weeks and baby was still perfectly healthy... so to answer your question, never, unless one of us were in danger.
Oh. I also did black cohosh but not enough to stimulate labor. I used black cohosh to prime my uterus for labor. It's probably why I never pushed (aside from needing to get the shoulders out) with my 4th.
I'm doing EPO vaginally and taking Red Raspberry Leaf daily, but that's about the extent of it. I had a membrane sweep last pregnancy at about 38 1/2 weeks, and I think it worked, but I also think it's partially to blame for my insanely long labor so I'm hesitant to try it again. My massage therapist is also a doula so I don't think she'd do anything before 40 weeks at the earliest.
im triying everything naturally walking, sex, pressure points ect!! so far nothings working for me :?
I did EPO at 37 weeks on. RRLT I started in my second trimester. I got weekly chiro adjustments from 36 weeks on. Acupuncture at 39 and 40. I was having a VBAC and went 16 days over with my first so it was important in avoiding a section. At 42 weeks I would not be able to be legally under care of my mw anymore. I would have tried more natural induction methods around 41 weeks had I gone further.
n****e stimulation with a pump
eggplant parm was one my midwife says a lot of women swear by
scrub your floors on hands and knees
try to use a rebozo to move baby down ( can do this in labor too)
lots of sex
I drank RRLT my entire pregnancy & started EPO at 37 weeks. At 40+2 I had a membrane sweep, prenatal massage & chiropractor adjustment & he was born about 12 hours after the sweep. My body was SO ready.
Have you popped out that sweet girl yet?!!

Girl hell no. She's not going anywhere :? Luckily I'm not too uncomfortable so I'm just going to suck it up until she decides to come.

She knows my huge belly is a baby, but I think that's about the extent of it. Sometimes I think she'll do really well and others I'm not so sure :(
