Quoting Madi's*Mama:" I understand at certain grade levels..like my old school the middle school can't make any cuts but high school you are old enough to accept responsibility for your actions. "

My sister is in middle school and they will kick you off the team for missing too many practices or for poor grades. IMO they are old enough to be responsible for their actions as well. Its also not fair to the team to allow someone to play in a game or competition when they hardly show up for practice while the rest of the team have worked very hard.

Yeah I'm iffy on the middle school policy but that's because I had to help coach the cheerleaders and there were over 80 girls and we couldn't cut any of them. If they didn't have the grades or missed practice they had to sit out but they couldn't be cut from the team and they got the award at the end of the season. So basically they were awarded for nothing. I think it's there to try and teach them responsibility but not hurt their self esteem by cutting them.

Was what the father said regarding the reasons his son missed so many practices the truth? I can understand why they

Exactly!!!!
No one takes responsibility for their actions anymore. It's always someone else's fault.
Ridiculous!!!

I didn't read the article but I'd laugh in this guy's face. What the f**k? 40 Million. That's f**king insane. I'd cut his child out the team if he was late all the time too. Him being late, makes the whole team late, cuts off practice time.
