I mix flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper together.

I clean the chicken, dip it in flour mix, Dip it in egg then cover it in flour mix, shake off extra then fry.

I clean and then pat the chicken in a flour, season salt, pepper mixture and "oven fry" it in butter at 425 degrees for 45 mins, turning chicken half way through.

I'm prone to splatter burns the traditional way

Soak it in buttermilk for a few hours, then dredge it in seasoned flour. Fry it in a few inches of veg oil. Make sure you put the oil on med/low and cover it with a lid. Best fried chicken ever. :)
