What are your favorite quick and easy recipes? Something that heats up well for lunch the next day, and a plus if it can be thrown in the oven or crock pot and forgotten about for an hour or so. Want to try to start working off a planned menu for dinners/grocery shopping.

TIA :)

Thanks! I am just tired of the same stuff over and over lol. Teriyaki chicken was a first for us last night, and will be lunch for me today :) it was soooo good.

My favorite crock pot easy recipes are:

1-2 packages of sausage, family sized can of green beans (or fresh) and several cut up potatoes. Put it all in a crock pot with chicken broth and serve with french bread. If I'm using canned green beans I usually wait until about a hour or so before we eat to put them in.

4-6 chicken breasts cooked in a crock pot with about 2 cups of water for 4-6 hours(until done). Drain water, shred chicken and put it back in the crock pot with Caesar dressing, parm cheese and a little lemon juice. Cook till hot (about 30 min) and serve on buns with Romaine lettuce and bacon if wanted.

Season a pork tenderloin with garlic salt and pepper. Mix onion soup and 2 cups water together, add in a little soy sauce and red wine if you have it and cook for 4-6 hours. Serve with mashed potaotes or mashed cauliflower. Yummm

All of these take 5-10 minutes of prep

This is a chicken leg one that is super easy. It takes literally 5-10 mins to throw together and a little over an hour to bake. I don't know how good it would be the next day though:

Veggy soup! You can even freeze it for many dinners ahead.

Thanks! I make some mean chili, but I've never tried it in the crock pot.
