I am currently having a miscarraige, I shared my story in a different post, but was wondering If at 6 1/2 weeks along when the baby died will i beable to see the baby when it passes or will not? I didnt have to deal with this with my first m/c because it was a blighted ovum. i was just wondering if I should expect something different then when i had my blighted ovum. thank you

Sorry to hear of your loss. Probably not. The baby is only about 1/4" long.

No, you won't be able to see anything. It will just be clots. I'm sorry for your loss. :(

Sorry for your loss, but at this point the baby is too small to really recognize. You will pass clots though.

When I had my miscarriage at 5 weeks it was just clots. My mom had one at 18 weeks and even then she said it was still just clots. I'm so sorry for your loss hun and big hugs being sent your way.

i had a loss at 6w 1d and i saw something that wasnt a clot. it was a small clear gel sac about the size of a quarter with a pinkish thing attached to it. no recognizable features, the pinkish tissue was approx the size of a pinkey fingernail and dense. the only reason i saw it is because i was i the shower and was passing a few clots-this one was different. after that passed my clots and bleeding slowed down quite a bit.

ETA years ago i had a loss at least 10 weeks, probably closer to 12 and didnt see anything recognizable then. did pass a lot of tissues...not like blood clots they were actually tissue like-i chocked it up to being placenta or whatever. again-nothing recognizable.

I am so very sorry for your loss :(

At that early in pregnancy the baby will normally be in clots and you won't see anything. I had 4 miscarriages and I only saw a baby once. That was my farthest along at 13 weeks.
