Well... For the mist part. There are risks with each.

Personally I'm pushing for a vba2c. I hate the idea of another csection. Being sliced open again, strapped down to a table with curtains up and I can't see or hold my baby for hours after. It's definitely a personal choice.

I'm pushing for a vbac after 3 c-sections! I'm going to hire a doula to naturally help moved things along!
Good luck!

I haven't had a C-section, but my last son was 5 weeks early as well, my water just broke on its own. My ob hasn't said anything about keeping an eye on this one, however I really pray that we make it full term! Good luck to you!

Thanks

My edd was Feb. 7th

I did get your message. I will try and look you up. I'll pm you my info too. The only thing is I haven't told anyone I'm pregnant yet, lol. So I'm not talking about it on fb at all. My boys found out yesterday so we'll be announcing it soon, but I want to make sure it's to the family first before everyone else. I did the whole I'm pregnant thing on fb before and some family members got upset because that was how they found out. I had thought my husband had told them when he actually didn't. Not going to make that same mistake twice.

No worries! Mums the word if we are friends on Facebook till you are ready for that!

Our immediate families found out at 9 weeks. I posted the day after for FB family and friends because I knew they would all blab anyways...do I wanted to be the one to announce!

We told our boys on the 4th of July and they could keep it secret much longer too!

Yeah my boys won't keep their mouth shut, lol. My oldest talks about it a lot already. In fact as I'm typing he's talking about it. He already wants to talk to my belly and kisses it. He told his dad yesterday that when I got home I needed to rest, lol. We're having lunch tomorrow with DH's mom's side of the family so I know the minute he walks through the door he'll be like, "Moms having a fourth baby!!!"

I figure one side of the family down then on to the other. My DH's parents are divorced. I figure everyone will probably know by the 27th. That's my youngests birthday and birthday party.

I don't have any experience with a preemie or a C-section, but if your doctor is being supportive and optimistic I'd go for the VBAC. It's wonderful when they grab the baby and lay them right on you. I know not all of us have that as an option, but if you can try you won't regret it. Especially the recovery time. I went to my oldest son's Halloween carnival 3 days after. I was still a little sore, but I was very mobile and didn't have any limitations on carrying things and even driving. It allowed me to get right back into my daily routine especially when you already have other kids to take care of. Good luck mama. Do what you feel is right and what you're comfortable with. There is no wrong way. All that matters is trying to deliver a healthy baby.

Just so you know, my first was born 5 weeks early, 6 lbs 3 oz via emergency csection.

My second was born at 40 weeks 2 days INDUCED 8 lbs 7 oz VBAC. And a very successful VBAC!!!

You have options hun, talk to other doctors if you have to. I am living proof you are not tied down. And my VBAC was a million times easier to recover from than my csection, and so rewarding.
PM me if you have any questions, because I have been exactly where you are!

I officially have told everyone in my family that we are expecting. Phew, thank goodness that's all done. It was getting really hard to keep that secret.
