DOO NOT QUotE PLEASE

So, I'm feeling not myself at all. Kind of detatched in a sense..

I just feel really scared/anxious all the time. Sometimes I'm OK, and other times, like now, I hyperventalate.. I feel so much different than everyone else. I look at my sister sitting here texting on her phone, not a care in the world and I want to feel like that. I always feel super anxious especially in a social setting. I never had this issue too much until after having DD. She's 8 months old now. It really kicked in about 2 months ago. I just feel like I'm going crazy in a sense... I want to feel normal. Sometimes, I don't feel like getting out of bed. I just feel like laying there allllll day long. In pajamas, no makeup, and messy ass hair. But I can't. She needs me and I refuse to let anyone help. I want to be there. I want to be the one doing EVERYTHING for her. I love her to death. I don't feel depressed when it comes to her. I just have no motivation. I always prefer to be alone. Or just her and I. I know something is wrong with me. I know something is different about me. I play it off so well on the outside. I try to be stepford wife perfect all the time. I feel like breaking. I hate this feeling. I am on 50mg of Zoloft as of May 17th. How long til it will kick in? I want to feel a change.....

f**k. I have never said this to anyone. Nobody ever knows how I feel. Not SO, not my Mom, family, nobody. I don't have anyone I can confide in. I am going to look into therapy maybe? Idk. What could be wrong? Really bad depression/anxiety? Bi-polar?

More than likely it is just PPD. You should start feeling the effects of Zoloft 3-4 weeks after starting it. It takes a while to kick in but can make you feel worlds different.

You think so? This late? I thought it happened right away. I hate this feeling. I hate feeling like I'm so much different than everyone.. I hope it kicks in soon. I need it to.

PPD can affect you for up to two years after giving birth, so it can definitely be PPD.
I would keep taking your meds, and look into therapy as well. If you are having anxiety, it may help.
