So yesterday I posted about listening to doctor or my body. Well today after my 3rd dose of my Nifedipine and being forced to stay down and not listen to my body I am in more pain then I have been my entire Pregnancy.
My back from mid back down is in tons of pain, still having low pressure, now I am getting extremely Nauseated.
I feel like baby is still really really low and my body is still wanting me to be up. I feel like bedrest is hurting me more then it is doing me good.
I am a "bigger" person (Height and somewhat weight wise) and I am used to being up with a very 2.5 yearold girl. I don't know if I can take the bed rest any more I feel too much pain just sitting and laying here.
I really don't know what to do cause I'm only 35 weeks but my body feels like it is tell me that baby needs to come out now. I'm already dilated and contracting thats why they have me down and on the medicine I don't know what to do if I don't feel it is working.

Tough call.. The last few weeks are critical to baby's lungs. If you're okay with baby more than likely being on a ventilator and in the NICU for a while, get up and do your thing. No one wants to be in pain, but you need to put your baby's health & needs before your own.

You need to listen to your Doctor. It might be your body, but he/she has more experience with these types of things. If they told you to be on bed rest, then it's for a good reason. Your labor was already medically stopped once, the reason they stopped it is because your Child is not developed enough to come early.

Your back hurting is no indicator of how far advanced your baby is. Fight the pain, so your Child has the chance to grow as he/she should naturally.

Some babies will come early no matter what, but you should be following doctors orders. There are so many things that could happen if you just completely disregard orders and do your thing. I know it sucks and you may be miserable but every additional day baking helps!!
