Go to the doctor and have them give you what they think is fitting.

Antibiotics are what makes us fight infections well enough to live long and healthy lives.

Google vs. Med School.

Lots and lots of water and cranberry pills. I have always gotten them they suck. You want to make sure you dont get a temp if you do go in asap kidney infections suck more.

Before getting antibiotics I would chug water and cranberry juice (the sugar free, all natural, gross kind) and take AZO pills. I found that to really help. I would literally lay in bed in a ball and cry my eyes out if I was not running to the bathroom to pee every 2 minutes.

I had one with every pregnancy. Weird, as if I was prone to it during pregnancy. But anyhow, it was always treated with macrobid.

you could always pretend we don't have modern medicine and let the infection run its course. That seemed to work well for people.

I tried that one time, and it ended up in my kidneys. It was awful. I'm not sure if the UTI itself caused the kidney infection, but I link the two.
