My sister is Michaela. We call her Mikki for short.
Quoting speaktruth2powr:" Nicknames are usually cutesy and don't age well. I couldn't imagine a 40 year old professional woman named Micki."
Not all women are professionals. Besides Micki's nice.

Mackenna? or however that is spelled?
Honestly all of those aren't the greatest but IMO whatever name you put with it its just gonna sound like shit
Quoting Icat:" Mackenna? or however that is spelled? man

Micki is ugly by itself so...
Why not Michelle?
My parents gave me a nic name on my birth certificate too, I f__ing hate it. So does my sister Janie. ( not Jane or Janet, Janie.) and I'm Vicki. our other 2 sisters, Tiffany and Stephannie. Yep. Nicknames are great, if they're a pet name, not what's on your birth certificate. Give her a real name and call her whatever you want, at least then she'll have a chance to grow into it. Just an opinion of someone who has had to explain 1000x why her name isn't an actual name. it sucks.
