Help with baby #2s name Davyn'sMommy Due December 18 (girl); 1 child; Kamloops, British Columbia 135 posts

My son is named Davyn (we chose a welsh name to honor my side of the fam.. rhymes with Gavin in case your unsure) and his middle name is Ryan (my SOs name). and last name is Gregory. Having a hard time finding something that goes well with his name. We dont know if this baby will be a boy or girl just looking for some suggestions to go with Davyn Ryan Gregory. I don't like top 100 names I prefer something a little unique. If Davyn was a girl his name was going to be Brynlee and I still love the name Bryn, maybe as a middle name so anything with that would be cool. But surprise me! could really use the help

Brynlee is beautiful! what are grand parents names? ( both grandmas and grandpas.) I am finding it incredibly difficult to find good irish names that aren't trendy or impossible to pronounce. ( I love Eoghan "owen" but it just feels like it's trying too hard for a Canadian.) Will search for some Welsh names for you, but if you come up with any good Gaelic ones please share ;) ( we're McDonalds... so many potential jokes...)

Andreas is Welsh for Andrew, means manly, Caedmon means warrior, they were 2 that caught my eye, but if you go to Today's Parent's baby namer you can search by letter meaning or origin, it's lots of fun. Not too sure how much naming advice you want to take from someone who has 2 kids on the top 3 list for their year of birth and a third son named James because I was trying so desperately to stay off of both the top 10 and the "you called you kid what!?" lists... :P In my defense I wanted to name him Alistair but his dad said it was too weird, it's his middle name.

My husband knows a girl from school named Daven. :)

I like Bryn/Brynn, just Brynn, no Brynlee, Briley, Bracelyn, Baileigh, etc.

Quoting mαkαnαni:" Brynlee is trendy."

I liked it because Bryn is a welsh name and Brynlee sounded better with our last name, and most the other girl names to choose from are horrid like Myfanwy. I'm not just looking for welsh names this time though, anything will work.

Bryn(n)is Welsh. Brynlee is not.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I like Kayne Kai Bryn and Bronwyn but they don't seem like 'the name' lol. Not going to use any of my parents/granparents names but my middle name is Bree and Brielle was a name that my SO liked as a middle name for a girl. Good thing I still have 7 months left to decide!
